After renting for nearly a decade, a San Francisco family was finally ready to commit to buying a home of their own. On the clients' wish list were a number of requests. Each room had to have a purpose; all spaces should be lived in. They wanted the home to feel grand when hosting family gatherings but at the same time comfortable and intimate for drinks and dinner with friends.

The home has a contemporary open floor plan filled with various living spaces designed to inspire creativity complete with a salon and music room.
