Primary Function
The primary function of this role is to successfully complete projects while balancing successful construction budgets and timelines.

Skills 
The main technical skill required for this position is hyper organization and high
output. The typical Project Manager works on three multi-million dollar
renovations concurrently.

 

  • Construction knowledge

  • Sequencing

  • Relationship management on the job site, in the office, and with the client and project teams

  • Working knowledge of most of the trades

  • Able to problem-solve issues that arise throughout the course of construction

  • Understanding of construction terminology

  • Able to measure

  • Read plans and specifications

  • Understand the roles of each member of the project team


​Responsibilities

  • Construction and Schedules (Gantt Charts)

  • Responsible for overseeing the Superintendent and their daily usage of the

  • Gantt chart through comments and attachments.

  • Know project details and problem-solve construction issues.

  • Consult on best practices, quality control, and critical path.

  • Document Control

  • Responsible for workbook organization: daily tasks that are kept on a

  • Google Docs etc. and maintained daily.

  • Responsible for COs and RFI processes

  • Managing Relationships

  • Communicate frequently and promptly with clients and the project team.

  • Responsible for communicating with the office team.

  • Oversee/manage Superintendents.

  • Consult with Superintendents on daily and big picture sub and site conditions.

  • Work collaboratively with Project Management/office colleagues.

  • Responsible for handling escalations through conflict resolutions.

  • Estimating, Invoicing, and Ordering – Subcontractors and Vendors.

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift

  • Monday to Friday


Experience:

  • Project Management: 5 years (Required)

  • Construction Experience: 5 years (Required)
