Modern Victorian Revival

Perched on a quiet street in San Francisco’s Cow Hollow neighborhood, this 1906 Victorian was reimagined into a contemporary family home that balances historic character with modern function. What began as a classic Painted Lady—full of charm but worn with time—was thoughtfully restored and expanded into a bright, livable space designed for today’s lifestyle. Collaborating with Tineke Triggs and Martin Newman Office, our team transformed the tall, narrow footprint into a gracious home with a grander kitchen and family room, a reinvented master suite, and a highly functional lower level complete with laundry, mudroom, and an elevator. The result is a sophisticated blend of timeless architecture and modern living.
